We Respect Your Data

How Tickify collects, uses, and protects the information you trust us with.

Effective February 12, 2026

Information We Collect

When you use Tickify, we collect data that falls into three categories:

Account Data

Your name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account. If you sign up through a third-party provider, we receive the profile information you authorize.

Workspace Data

Everything your team creates inside Tickify — support tickets, customer conversations, knowledge base articles, team configurations, and AI chat interactions. This data belongs to your workspace.

Usage & Device Data

Browser type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, and feature usage patterns. We collect this to improve platform performance and diagnose issues.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and deliver the Tickify platform, including AI-powered chat, ticket management, and knowledge base features
  • Generate workspace analytics and customer satisfaction insights for your dashboard
  • Send service-critical communications — account confirmations, security alerts, and platform updates
  • Improve response accuracy and relevance of your AI assistant over time
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access to your workspace
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

Workspace Isolation

Tickify is built on a multi-tenant architecture with strict data boundaries between workspaces.

Every workspace operates in complete isolation. Your tickets, conversations, knowledge articles, and customer data are separated from every other workspace at the database level using Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.

No other workspace — and no other Tickify customer — can access, view, or query your data. This isolation is enforced at the infrastructure level, not just the application level. Even our internal tools respect these boundaries.

AI & Your Data

Tickify's AI assistant uses your knowledge base articles and website content to answer customer questions. Here is exactly how that works:

Knowledge Indexing

When you publish a knowledge base article, we index its content so the AI can retrieve relevant passages when customers ask questions. This index is scoped to your workspace only.

Conversation Processing

Customer chat messages are processed in real time to generate AI responses. Conversations are stored in your workspace for review and quality assurance by your team.

No Model Training

We do not use your workspace data, customer conversations, or knowledge base content to train AI models. Your data is used solely to power your workspace's AI assistant.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. Here is who does have access:

Infrastructure Providers

We use Supabase for database hosting and Vercel for application delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.

AI Model Providers

Customer chat messages are sent to our AI provider to generate responses. These providers do not retain your data beyond the immediate request and do not use it for training.

Legal Requirements

We disclose data when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the public.

Your Rights

You own your data. Regardless of where you are located, you have the following rights:

  • Access. Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
  • Export. Download your workspace data — tickets, conversations, knowledge articles — at any time
  • Correction. Update or correct inaccurate personal information
  • Deletion. Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt-out. Unsubscribe from marketing communications with one click
  • Portability. Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and LGPD requirements. If you are an EU, UK, California, or Brazil resident, additional region-specific rights apply. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

Data Security

We take security seriously at every layer of the stack:

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Row-Level Security policies enforce workspace isolation at the database level
  • Authentication tokens are signed with industry-standard JWT and expire automatically
  • Role-based access control limits what each team member can see and do within a workspace
  • We conduct regular security reviews and are working toward SOC 2 Type II compliance
  • Sensitive credentials and API keys are never stored in application code or client bundles

Cookies

We keep cookie usage minimal and purposeful:

Essential Cookies

Required for authentication, session management, and security. These cannot be disabled as they are necessary for the platform to function.

Analytics Cookies

Optional cookies that help us understand how you use Tickify so we can improve the experience. You can opt out of these at any time through your browser settings.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not participate in cross-site tracking networks.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when our practices change. For material changes — anything that affects how we collect, use, or share your data — we notify you via email and display a notice within the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Minor updates like clarifications or formatting changes take effect immediately upon posting. The “Effective date” at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
